Christian Scientists endeavor daily to discern the changing landscape of mortal beliefs so that they can be seen, reversed, and defeated. One ever growing element in human thought regarding man is the belief that human beings, beyond just being material, are electrical creatures. This belief, that human beings are electrical, is an increasingly important pathway for modern technologies to claim to alter the human body itself and to extend and improve it beyond what are considered “bodily” limitations. This talk will try to make Christian Scientists more familiar with this new element in thought in the 21st Century.

Dr. Alex Cavalli, Ph.D. has had many careers: plasma physicist, researching controlled nuclear fusion; technologist, developing computer models for semiconductors; early electronic commerce research including development of one of the first internet search engines, web browsers, and shopping carts; the design and manufacture of world-class high-end headphone amplifiers as Cavalli Audio.
Alex Cavalli’s greatest joy has come from developing and delivering live performances of The Gospel of St. John and Paul, Face to Face, taken from the King James Translation of the Bible. These performances and the response to them led Alex to helping others read the spiritual text of Christian Science – particularly the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. Alex coaches individuals from around the world. He has served as First Reader and is an occasional substitute for both Readers. |
