Description: Professor Hering identifies that humanity is in need of help. As Christian Scientists we can meet this need through the science of Christ. He shares how with Christian Science we can bring salvation to the world. Professor Hering shows how the world is blessed as mankind gains a better understanding of Jesus’ Teaching and the standard of right living based upon a Divine basis. He shows how the Christ consciousness inspires and lifts thought from the material to the spiritual and immortal. Professor  Hering explains how Divine metaphysical healing is scientific and that obedience to Jesus teaching and example spiritualizes consciousness and transforms/renews the mind and gives spiritual freedom. He explains how Jesus’ teachings reveal workable solutions to solve humanities problems, and Divine Mind reveals spiritual being and that spiritual consciousness as a present possibility. Prof Hering shows how we can put on the Mind of Christ. M.B.E. asked “what would Jesus do here?” Christian Science gives a wonderfully enlarged and comprehensive concept of God. Through spiritual understanding Truth is perceived and we leave all for Christ. We will explore these concepts as we investigate 11 public lectures given by Professor Hering over the period of 1906-39.

Tevor Leach, CS, started his career as a Chartered Accountant.  Subsequently he became a business and tax consultant.  In 1995, Trevor started the Mustard Seed Events in Scotland and since that time has run hundreds of Mustard Seed Bible Workshops in the British Isles, USA and Nigeria. Trevor has been involved in a number of inter faith ecumenical prayer groups in the Isle of Man over the last fifteen years.  He always loved attending the Christian Science Sunday School in Buxton, Derbyshire, England and for many years has been a keen Bible student and avid reader of religious books.   He was Sunday School Superintendent, First and Second Reader, President and Chairman of the Board at his Christian Science branch church in Douglas, Isle of Man and was the Committee on Publication for the Isle of Man.  He produced videos and ran workshops for The World Healing Crusade in the UK. He began lecturing when he was 18 – mainly in connection with his “day job” in the Accountancy field and was involved in Missionary work in Africa.
