Description: Amber Ellwood leads us on a 10-week, line-by-line study of this first chapter, "Prayer," in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, discussing the attitudes, anatomy and benefits of prayer and ending with a deep dive into the Lord’s Prayer with its spiritual interpretation. Each session will last approximately 1 hour. 

Amber B. Ellwood - was raised in Christian Science. From an early age she was constantly striving to learn more about God and to put that understanding into practice.  As a member of several Christian Science Churches, Amber has served in the Sunday School, the Reading Room and on several other committees. She is currently serving on the Music Committee at 1st Church of Christ, Scientist, Baton Rouge. Louisiana.  As a young adult, Amber was led to seeking Truth, the search led her to several years of studying the Book of Revelation, taking Primary Class instruction. For the past 20 years Amber has included the works of John W. Doorly, Dr. Max Kappeler and their students in her studies. Amber has had the privilege of giving book talks on several Books of the Bible as well as several chapters of Science and Health, including the chapter of Prayer, based on her study of the works Doorly and Kappeler, at 4th Church of Christ Scientist, New Orleans.
