Overview:
This workshop is designed to help participants deepen their understanding of the names and attributes of God as revealed in the Bible, incorporating powerful Christian music, Mary Baker Eddy’s Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and practical activities to help participants apply these names in prayer for healing. The goal is to empower individuals to experience the transformative power of God's names through prayer, meditation, and study.

Duration: 
This workshop is designed to be a series of 4 sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. Each session will focus on a specific aspect of God's nature as revealed in the Bible and how to apply that knowledge in daily life. The series will also feature musical interludes, group discussions, and activities for individual and collective reflection.

Each session includes:

• Opening Prayer & Introduction 
• Scriptural Study
• Musical Interlude (Current Christian Worship Music) 
• Study from the Bible and Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy 
• Activity for Healing through Prayer
• Group Discussion/Reflection 
• Closing Prayer and Takeaways

Session 1: "God as Creator and Sustainer – Elohim" - April 15
Goal: To understand God's omnipotence as the Creator of all, and how we can trust in His sustaining power for healing and wholeness.

Session 2: "God as Healer – Jehovah Rapha" - April 22
Goal: To explore God’s healing power through the name "Jehovah Rapha" and how it applies to our spiritual and physical healing.

Session 3: "God as Provider – Jehovah Jireh" - April 29
Goal: To understand God as our provider and how to trust Him for every need—whether material, emotional, or spiritual.

Session 4: "God as Protector – El Shaddai" - May 6
Goal: To explore God as our protector and refuge in times of fear and uncertainty.

Dr. Kathryn Statos, EdD, C.S. (Kathy) is a devoted student of God’s Word. Growing up studying Christian Science, she has seen many miraculous healings for herself, family members, and many others, and all of these healings she attributes to God’s answered prayer.  She understands the importance of her relationship with God, how the connection through prayer brings her closer to God and resolves challenges of any kind.  She also recognizes how praying can  transform a person’s life.  Kathy is an adjunct professor and has a private practice in Austin, Texas.  She is an active member in community affairs, local service organizations, and the arts.
